Saturday, April 14, 2018 HEO participated in the newly created Green Clean Event along with Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards and Master Gardeners which was hosted by Main Street Hanover.  The group was pleased with the amount of public participation for the downtown cleanup portion of the event. This will become an annual Second Saturday effort.
Dutch Festival

National Night Out
Tuesday evening, August 7, 2018, HEO and Penn Township came together to help the public understand the effects of pollutants in storm water.  Although they may not be visible on the surface, these harmful agents uncontrollably flow into our waterways.  The younger age group really enjoyed the visual lab.
